I Am a Camera plot
In the early 1930s, writer Christopher Isherwood (Laurence Harvey) lives in Berlin. He meets Sally Bowles (Julie Harris), a handsome, poor singer. A close friendship develops between the two, but Sally continues to throw herself into the wild nightlife and lives entirely on the money of others.
