Hüter Meines Bruders plot

Gregor and Pietschi are brothers, albeit very different ones. While the older Gregor goes through life as a successful medical assistant with good pay and recognition, Pietschi seems to be doing the exact opposite. Without a plan and very capricious, he lives from day to day. Although Gregor feels superior to his brother, they go sailing every year on Pentecost. During one of these trips Pietschi disappears without a trace, after which Gregor initially continues his life. But after a while he still goes in search of his brother and while digging through his private life he discovers other facets of Pietschi's existence.
