Hot Summer Night plot
"Hot with the blast of gunfire!"
William Joel Partain, a big-city journalist, travels through the small town of Ozarks with his wife Irene between assignments. There, William gets involved in a bank robbery. He is able to track down the brutal gang that committed the theft, but must conclude that the locals are proud of that gang. With this experience, Joe hopes to return to the big city and do a big article about it, but when he wants to interview the gang leader as well, he and Irene are taken hostage by the gang.
