Twenty-year-old Khoi leaves his village and heads for the big city. There he meets Dong and is invited to live with Dong. It turns out that Lam, Dong's friend, also lives there. When he takes a shower, Dong and Lam steal all of Khoi's saved money and run away. Lam is also put aside by Dong and decides to prostitute himself. Meanwhile, Khoi tries to survive by taking on various jobs and wonders if he made the right choice by coming to the big city.
