Hong Fen plot

Two prostitutes, Qiu Yi and Xiao E, have been sent to a re-education camp by the People's Liberation Army. Qiu Yi fights against reeducation and escapes. She becomes a concubine with Lao Pu. When she becomes pregnant, she flees to a Buddhist temple. Meanwhile, Qiu Yi is undergoing her re-education. She leaves the camp and goes to work in a factory. However, she hates the heavy lifting and therefore marries Lao Pu.
