Homa ke Nero plot
Nicolas is a young illiterate shepherd in wild Macedonia. A sensuous boy who plays the lyre during Dionysian rites that involve walking over burning coals. He has an almost animalistic relationship with Constantina, a girl who is too good for him. The only thing they share is physical love. When she leaves him, forced by her family, he flees from her brother's blood feud to the city, the great evil city, which corrupts this pure shepherd boy. He becomes involved in the trafficking of women and thus meets Elena, who is on her way from Russia to Toronto. She is fragile and vulnerable, but very determined and armed with a strong survival instinct.
