Hemingway vs. Callaghan plot

Ernest Hemingway, a romantic American adventurer, goes to Toronto to take care of the young heir to a department store chain. He eventually lands a job at The Star weekly and meets another aspiring writer, Morley Callaghan. Hemingway persuades Callaghan to go far into the exciting life in Paris. Combative as ever, he ensures that Callaghan ends up in a boxing ring. The referee of the boxing match is F. Scott Fitzgerald. The end of the match also means the end of his friendship with Callaghan.
