Heidenlöcher plot

Germany during World War II. A family offers shelter to a Polish prisoner of war who works for them under difficult circumstances. The father praises the man and this arouses the jealousy of the son. Throughout the village there are French, Polish and Russian prisoners working under the strict guard of the Nazis. As a result, tensions are running high. Things get even trickier when the entire village conspires to hide an Austrian deserter in a cave in the nearby mountains.
