Kang is a Coast Guard soldier, stationed on the East Coast. He is obsessed with the idea of killing a North Korean and then being honored. When Kang sees moving shadows on his watch (actually a couple making love) he shoots his machine gun and kills the man. This makes the woman completely insane. Kang receives a commendation for taking his responsibility, despite the protests of the locals. However, after a while, the guilt begins to gnaw at Kang...
