"Life isn't about the game...It's about the journey."
1956. A young American philosophy student is on his way to India in search of enlightenment. He takes a detour through Scotland to visit the legendary Burningbush golf course and play one last game before quitting his beloved game. Unexpectedly, he comes face to face with the mysterious and mischievous golfer Shivas Irons. A wild adventure ensues, both on and off the course, with the perception of golf drastically changing the young student's life. From this change arises a close and unbreakable bond of camaraderie.
