Gli Inesorabili plot

Saverio Luparello is the manager of the estate of the Sicilian baron Occipinti. The wily, greedy man deliberately turns the land into a wasteland, hoping that his employer will be discouraged by the low yield and will sell his land to him at a very low price. However, his plans are thwarted by a tenant farmer, Diego Costa, who works his plot diligently and with good results. Luparello's three sons try to drive the Costas out of their ranch, but they are defended by Don Salvatore, a barkeeper and leader of the local mafia.
