Gigot plot

Dumb Gigot is a good-hearted fat man who works as a housekeeper in the run-down hotel of the hard-hearted Madame Brigitte. Gigot lives in extremely poor circumstances and the local residents would rather lose him than be rich. The simple man is the favorite victim of bullies who play cruel jokes on him. One day, Gigot meets little Colette, the daughter of a sick prostitute who, like him, has been ostracized by society. Despite the harsh weather conditions and persistent bullying, Gigot and Colette become close friends.
