Geliebte Feindin plot

Egypt around 1900. A French legionnaire falls in love with the wife of the English consul. He takes advantage of the situation without the loved ones knowing. He drives his wife straight into adultery in order to learn French military secrets. She leaves her husband, but her lover thinks she has passed on the military secrets and he cannot forgive her.
