Gegen Morgen plot
Wagner and his colleague Zippolt are both police officers assigned to keep an eye on a murderer who has just been released from prison. Wagner lives alone. He likes to watch the pigeons from his neighbor's roof and listens to heavy opera arias that he sings along with his heavy baritone. His partner, with whom he is forced to spend days at a time in a car near the target's house, is an unrelenting chatterbox. Like a hamster on a treadmill, he is constantly working on his life and his theories. But the more he talks, the more aggressive Wagner becomes. Then Wagner meets a woman. This time it may well be the one. But in the end, nothing turns out to be as one might think, not at work or at home. No one gets what he wants, but something can change for all...
