Gavagai plot
German businessman Carsten Neuer travels to Norway to translate the poems of Tarjei Vesaas into Chinese. He wants to finish the project of his deceased wife. To get inspiration for the translation, he visits Vesaas's house and several other places with the guide Niko. On the way, the ghost of Carsten's wife appears to him. In the meantime, Niko struggles with the pregnancy of his girlfriend.
