Gallant Lady plot

"MERCY KILLER or BORGIA?"

dr. Rosemary Walsh is in the final months of her four-year sentence in the prison farm after being convicted of euthanasia. However, she is taken hostage by the gangsters Nick Morelli and Baldy when they try to free their sweethearts Nellie and Jane from the prison farm. On a country road, Rosemary is released again and she is determined to go back to the prison farm as she has only one month left in prison to serve. Along the way, Rosemary arrives at a cabin near a swamp where she places the broken leg of Luke Walker there. Then, when local doctor and plantation owner Steve Carey arrives, he soon realizes that Rosemary is the escaped convict that authorities believe was part of Nick and Baldy's escape plan.
