Film about the life of writer Gaby Brimmer, who was named literary sensation of the year in 1979. In her books she tells about the constant struggle for self-expression that an author has to fight. However, Gaby's life was a struggle in several ways, as she was born with various disabilities. These were so severe that she could not speak, walk or use her hands. Her book is written on a typewriter, which she operated with her only usable limb: her left foot.
