Jackie is a recently divorced mother of two who is going on a solo vacation to Hawaii for her 40th birthday. Against her better judgment, she allows a handsome, much younger surf instructor to turn her head. What starts as a regular one night stand quickly turns into love. But with the kids, a disapproving ex-husband and friends, and an ocean separated, true love is very difficult. When Jackie loses control of herself, it's up to her lover to teach her how to get back on her feet before she misses the wave that will change her life forever.
