Finnegan Begin Again plot

"When you lose your heart, there's only one solution"

Finnegan (Robert Preston) is finally retired, but no rest yet. He is going to take care of his senile wife. That is quite difficult and since his wife does not allow him to remove anything from their house, it becomes a huge mess. Then he meets Liz, who is in a relationship with the wrong man for her. They become each other's confidants and share their life stories and experiences.
