"Compassion knows no borders"

Oscar and Maria Salazar find themselves trapped in Mexico when they are denied a work visa. They cannot now return to the United States. The couple gets in even more trouble when they have a baby named Angelina in Mexico. Their other two children were born in the United States. Oscar sees only one way out: illegally enter the United States. Together with Maria and Angelina, Oscar embarks on a perilous journey through the treacherous Sonoran Desert.
