May 1864, the Battle of New Market. A group of young volunteer soldiers are confronted with the harsh laws of adult life during the American Civil War. They will fight for what they are worth for the first time to defend their position in the Shenandoah Valley. Now that the young men are leaving their youth behind, they will have to ask themselves what exactly is what they are going to fight for.
