Félicité plot
Félicité is a proud and independent woman who works as a singer in a bar in Kinshasa. When she enters the stage, she seems to leave the world and its daily worries behind. Her audience is quickly captivated by the rhythm of her music and her powerful, melancholic melodies. But then one day her son has a terrible accident. While he is in the hospital, she desperately tries to get the money needed to pay for his surgery. A breathless journey through the impoverished streets and richer neighborhoods of the Congolese capital follows. And then in a bar she crosses paths with Tabu, who offers her his help...
