Esta Isla plot
Brothers Charlie and Bebo lead a modest but relaxed life in a public housing complex in their coastal town in Puerto Rico. They drink and party together—often at night on the beach with friends—and during the day they try to make ends meet as fishermen, occasionally working part-time. Against this backdrop, teenager Bebo meets and falls in love with Lola, a young woman from a privileged family. But when Charlie becomes embroiled in shady dealings that clash with the activities of a local drug dealer, the young lovers flee and seek refuge deep in the island's pristine and remote mountains, where they bide their time to avoid danger.
