"A comedy about starting over...at the bottom"

An ambitious chef and restaurateur discovers that starting over is never easy when he can draw a line from his dream and is forced to work his way up the corporate ladder again, despite having no apparent skills for the job. Clay Maguire never had any doubts about what he wanted to do with his life. But after losing his restaurant, Clay realizes that he can only survive if he ventures into the American corporate world and hopes for the best. But Clay is in his early forties and doesn't know much about common computer programs like Microsoft Word and Excel. He's officially joined America's unemployed interviewees, but thankfully he's not alone: While his cynical job counselor offers little encouragement, his homeless friend Nick and the handsome former Peace Corps volunteer Liz do their very best to cheer Clay up while everyone is fighting to make ends meet.
