England, My England plot

Life at the court of Charles II (Simon Callow) seen through the eyes of the composer Henry Purcell. The opulence and the wealth, but also the terrible division. There is always a struggle with parliament and Republicans abound. But Charles has not forgotten his father's murder either. When much of London goes up in flames, it gets too hot underfoot for many nobles. Charles will have to take strict measures to maintain his power.
