Elenya plot

During World War II, twelve-year-old Elenya discovers a German paratrooper in a forest in Wales. She decides to hide him and she even falls in love with him. One day, however, the man is found by her classmates and Elenya has to leave. Years later, she is informed that she has inherited her aunt's house in her native village. She returns to Wales and reminisces about her years during the Second World War.
