Elegiya Dorogi plot
Elegy of a Voyage starts as a road movie and follows a route from Russia to Rotterdam. A man is inspired by a force greater than himself and he sets out on a long journey. It crosses snowy plains, crosses borders and a sea, to arrive abroad. He describes in detail what he observes and whom he encounters: all that illuminates his path. Finally he arrives at the doors of an apparently abandoned palace, the museum Boijmans van Beuningen (Rotterdam).
