Ele, o Boto plot
Boto is a dolphin who takes the form of a human male to seduce the ladies of an isolated fishing village in northern Brazil. The beautiful fisherman's daughter Tereza becomes pregnant with him and gives birth to a child who is half human, half dolphin, while Boto has already returned to sea. A battle ensues between him and local businessman Rufino for Tereza's soul.
