El Sueño del Mara'akame plot
Nieri is a young Mexican Huichol Indian who dreams of traveling with his band and playing at a concert in Mexico City. But his father is a Mara'akame (Huichol shaman) and has other plans for his son. He must find the 'Blue Deer' in his dreams in order to become a Mara'kame and thus follow his tradition. But Nieri nevertheless travels to Mexico City where he gets hopelessly lost.
