Einfach Raus plot

In the summer of 1989, just before the fall of the Berlin Wall, DDR citizens fled from their bankrupt workers' paradise via Hungary to the free West. Their escape attempts and later experiences are very different. The main characters are 18-year-old Andreas (Fabian Busch), who wants to study physics in the Federal Republic of Germany, and 22-year-old Michelle (Inga Busch), who simply hopes for a better and richer life. Ten years later, they take stock.
