Sonja (Katja Rupé) gets into trouble when she has to have an abortion under pressure from her boyfriend Manfred (Elmar Wepper). She shoots him dead and is misunderstood by the court and convicted. In the courtroom she thinks of her idol Hans-Jürgen Bäumler, the figure skater on skates.
