April 1945. In the Austrian Alpine village of Altaussee, the local salt mine was chosen by Hitler and Göring as the place to house much of the art treasures stolen by the Nazis. When the end of the Third Reich seems near, Hitler gives the order to blow up the mine. The people of Altaussee are revolting against that decision.
