Die Welt Steht Still plot
When COVID-19 sets in at the beginning of 2020, Caroline Mellau, a doctor in intensive care, will head her clinic's crisis team. They work day and night, there is no good protective clothing and the young team regularly does not know what to do with this unknown disease. At home, too, Caroline is dealing with the consequences of the pandemic. Her husband finds herself at home without an income from one day to the next and the children cannot go to school. Furthermore, the relationship with the neighbors, who turn out to be corona deniers, is deteriorating.
