Die Unsichtbaren plot
February 1943. The Nazi regime decides that no more Jews are allowed to live in the capital Berlin. But 7000 of them are able to flee from the atrocities of Adolf Hitler, of which about 1700 survived the war. 17-year-old Hanni Lévy is one of the people in hiding. Hanni, who lost both parents, tries to go unnoticed on the Kürfurstendamm with blond hair. Cioma Schönhaus, another Jew, lives in luxury. He buys a sailboat and eats in the best restaurants in Berlin. He forges passports to save the lives of dozens of Jews, while Eugen Friede fights the Nazi regime with leaflets produced by a resistance group. Meanwhile, Ruth Arndt dreams of going to the United States.
