Two eccentric boys become friends and build a cabin together in the woods to start a new life from there. Their daily struggle for survival creates a strong bond between them. At one point the hut is destroyed and one of the boys is taken. That is how it returns to society. The former psychiatric patient is led to believe that his friend from the forest is just a figment of his imagination. This empowers him to fight back and prove that his friend really exists.
