Die Letzte Chance plot

Brilliant criminal lawyer Gerd (Michael Mendl) stumbles upon a case for the first time in his life, defending Katharina (Jennifer Nitsch). He shouldn't have done that: Katharina is the daughter-in-law of the court president (Karl Michael Vogler). This makes further work impossible for him and years later Gerd has fallen into disrepair and alcohol. Then Katharina, who was released for good behavior, comes to him again. She claims to have been innocent and claims custody of her child. After years, Gerd can breathe new life into his shattered blazon.
