Diario di un Vizio plot
The story is told in short flashes by salesman Benito. He reads from his diary, which describes his lonely life and doomed loves. He lives in cheap rooms and can live off peddling toilet bowl cleaners in hotels. He constantly has casual affairs with all kinds of women of all ages, despite his sexually insatiable girlfriend Luigia, who is a striptease dancer. They love each other, although they argue a lot and make love and break up regularly. Benito's life becomes even more exhausting as the diary takes up more space, until there is nothing left of him at all.
