Diapason plot

In Diapason, director Antonio Domenici takes the viewer to a nighttime Rome. Two storylines run parallel throughout the film. First there is the plot line of Marcello, a 65-year-old, somewhat sluggish film director. He tries to convince a stunning actress to accept a part in one of his films. But the old cinematographer is not the only one strolling through Rome. There is also a gang of criminals and illegal immigrants who claim the night. They don't try to get anyone into a movie, but drink, steal and experiment with sex and drugs.
