First part of the biographical report of the Russian writer Maxim Gorky. Against the background of poverty-stricken Russia in the nineteenth century, Maxim is forced to spend his childhood with his grandparents, where his grandmother, a simple but lively woman, nevertheless gives Maxim a pleasant childhood.
