Desire Me plot
Marise Aubert was married to Paul. Paul was in a German concentration camp with Jean Renaud during World War II and he was killed during a heroic escape attempt. Jean, who has fallen in love with her through the many stories about Marise, travels to Marise to tell her the bad news about Paul. The moved and lonely Marise allows Jean to stay in her house for the time being. Marise and Jean have a love affair, but then a letter arrives from Paul.
