Der Träumende Mund plot
Orchestra master Peter does not care enough about his young wife Gaby. When she meets Peter's childhood friend Michael, she falls in love with this violin virtuoso. However, it gnaws at her conscience. On the one hand she no longer believes in the sincerity of her marriage to Peter, but on the other hand she does not want to break with the safe married life. Then Peter becomes seriously ill and she decides to choose him anyway. But her crush for Michael is stronger and she becomes more and more desperate. She no longer believes she can get out of the predicament of her emotional state, and that leads to drama.
