Pastor Stefan Book preaches about love and impresses his motley crowd of parishioners. When Bodo Schüler, a big name in the nightlife scene, wants to confess to him, the Book pushes him to the brink of despair. Bodo wants him to prevent the impending marriage between his illegitimate daughter Ina and his son Hanno. It goes without saying that he adheres to his duty of confidentiality - the two do not know that they are so closely related, and Bodo wants to keep it that way...
