Philipp Hochmair is a young and successful actor who works for the main theaters in Vienna and Hamburg. He spends his time learning new lyrics, rehearsing and performing. Gradually he loses touch with reality. But when Philipp meets Walter and has to face the fate of his neighbor Victor, he is reminded that life is more than a stage.
