Deewaar plot
Abandoned by her husband, Sumitra Verma is forced to raise her two young sons alone. Years later, the family is still struggling with this. Her older son, Vijay, is a laborer in Bombay ports; her younger son, Ravi, is unemployed and in love with the only daughter of the Police Commissioner, Leena Narang. Thanks to the Commissioner, Ravi gets a job with the police and an education is arranged for him. Months later, he completed that training and started working for the police. When he returns home, he sees that Vijay has become a businessman, who is immensely rich. When Ravi learns that Vijay's wealth has been acquired through crime, he decides to leave Vijay's house with his mother. And Vijay must now decide to stop his criminal activities, or surrender to his brother, and live the honest life.
