De Vlinder Tilt de Kat Op plot

Feature film about a young man who leaves his girlfriend when he is told that he suffers from the debilitating disease multiple sclerosis. In the years that follow, the man, who slowly but surely gives up more and more bodily functions, has plenty of time to wallow in self-pity. When his ex-girlfriend visits him again after years with the announcement that he is the father of her ten-year-old son, a new life seems to lie ahead. Gradually, through trial and error, the sick man begins to see the meaning of an ancient Sherpa wisdom he learned in the Himalayas. "The mountain is heavy, but the butterfly lifts the cat." In other words, something that seems difficult is not always difficult.
