De Standhaftige plot
During a mission in Helmand in Afghanistan, 25-year-old Thomas steps on a land mine and is seriously injured. At the local rehabilitation center he meets Sofie, a ballerina from the Royal Danish Ballet, who is helping a family member after a long period of illness. Thomas wants to get back on the field quickly and gets impatient when he doesn't think the progress is fast enough. When Sophie offers him help with a more intensive rehabilitation plan, he agrees. Despite their differences, they develop a special bond and mutual affection.
