Darkness and Daylight plot

Two sisters and a brother are harassed by a rich man who was once rejected by their mother. On the eve of the eldest sister's wedding, the man creates a compromising situation, whereupon the two sisters leave for a nearby town, where they live in poverty. However, the persecution continues. The youngest sister is thrown out on the street, while the eldest sister is accused of theft.
