Da Geht Noch Was! plot

Because one cannot choose family, Conrad limits the visits to his parents Carl and Helene to a strict minimum. His father Carl is a grumpy old man who cannot say a good word about his son or wife Tamara. Only grandson Jonas finds the visits useful; after all, he lets his dad pay for his good mood. But at this year's birthday party, Mother Helene surprises everyone with big news. After 40 years of marriage, she finally leaves Carl.
