"Look beyond the colors"
Magdalene is a black artist who moves into a new apartment with her young son Monet. They share a special bond and the same condition of color blindness, which makes them see the colors of the world very differently than other people. The two immediately face setbacks when they have a brief run-in with a white policewoman right outside their apartment building.
