City Rats plot
The film is about eight people, who are all in their own personal crisis and whose lives turn out to be connected in one way or another. A man prepares to end his life by jumping off a roof, until he notices that another man is doing the same thing on an adjacent building. Together they realize that there must be another way to get out of trouble. An artist, also in misery, finds his inspiration in the prostitute who lives next door; however, her cooperation takes its toll. Elsewhere, a gay man takes his deaf-mute brother (also gay) through the streets of Soho to help him have sex for the first time in his life. Then there is a shadowy man who tries to help the mother of an old friend who has disappeared without a trace, to find him again.
